knocking in engine, oil light on

I have a 2007 Nissan Quest, oil light came on and has a knock in the engine, but no engine light on. Was low on oil, added oil nothing changed and on the code reader got code P0011

This usually means there is an internal issue with the engine. The P0011 is for the IVT solenoid and can mean that the timing is off. Since the engine was low on oil, it's highly likely there is internal engine damage and it will need to be replaced or rebuilt to resolve the problem.
