i am unable to start my car.

Question

how can i disable an alarm on a 2001 nissan altima 2.4. I am unable to start the car, i can only unlock and lock the car. Please advise

Disable the alarm you unlock the  door either using the remote or the key entrance to the door, In most cases it the starter that is non functional not the alarm, You can test the starter by doing a direct jump to the starter circuit to verify operation of the starter function
