P0505 Nissan - will this cause my car not to start?

I have 2000 Nissan Altima and it doesn't want to the start . The 2 codes that it gave me are P0301 , P0505 . Can you give advice on what it might be ?

Hi there,

First thing to check anytime it won't start is the security light. If it's on solid then the immobilizer is set and the car won't start. The 505 is for the idle air control and can make the car difficult to start, but normally it will. If the IAC is sticking though the car could flood out. The 301 is a misfire on cylinder 1. Usually this code is brought on by a bad intake manifold gasket on these.
