How expensive is the repair of the engine code P0016 on the 2006 Subaru Tribeca V6? The check engine light is on

This really depends on the cause of the code. If there is a problem with the oil control solenoid, or the oil line to it, then it's not a huge repair. If the problem is with the timing chain actually causing the code then it's a very large repair. It has to be properly diagnosed to determine the cause.
