2006 Mercedes Benz C230 V6, I checked and came up with codes 2 of them P0016 and P0017

Question

I have a 2006 Mercedes Benz C230 V6 Sport and when checked I got 2 codes P0016-POO17 My engine light comes on and it does go out but comes back on what does these 2 codes mean?

P0016 Constant adjustment of intake camshaft of right cylinder

P0017 Constant adjustment of exhaust camshaft of right cylinder

The best approach for thiese code is to replace the timing gear solenoid first, if the problem does persist. this  is a timing gear problem, the fix to replace the timing gear and the timing chain with a timing chain tensioner.
