P0016 Crankshaft - Camshaft correlation (Bank 1 Sensor A)

This is more of a mechanical condition with the timing chain, what happens is the crank position signal has deviated from its position. If the CKP signal was intermittent the ECM would set a CKP code as intermittent and if the Cam sensor was intermittent the ECM would set a CAM code as intermittent, this code has always been related to a mechanical condition.with the timing chain
