just want it to pass echeck and dont care if the light comes back on is there an easy solution besides tearing the engine apart

This depends on what set the code condition, when a code is set the cause has to be known, if a mechanical condition is what is causing the code to set that would have to be resolved in order for the CK ENG LT to be resolved. When the cause is mechanical there is no short cut
