Check engine light came on. I have 177,000 miles on my 2005 Honda CRV.
Stopped by Auto Zone to scan codes.
61-1 , 83-1, P1009, and P01325
My engine light has only came on in the past when my oil is low. Last week it came on and my oil was low. I added 2 quarts of oil at that time and light went off. I do have a small oil leak because there's oil under the motor but not enough to show up on the pavement. I had the oil changed this weekend and it came on right after. The oil level shows normal. I know nothing about cars (for real, I'm a chick). Could you please explain what these codes mean???

P1009 VTC Advance malfunction

This code condition that set is for the VTC oil control solenoid valve, replacing this valve is the recommended fix, what happens is that you just cleared the code and added oil, drove the vehicle, code was set in the ECM, but this time was in pending, Had an oil change, and the code just set, it went to full maturity,

The VTC oil control solenoid replacement is the recommended fix.

61-1 BATTERY VOLTAGE FAILURE

The 61-1 code indicates that a low battery voltage has been detected. Start by checking the battery and alternator charge.
