Code#P1810, 2000 Pontiac Firebird, shifts out of overdrive when going down the road?

Recently did a transmission service, replacing filter and fluids but did not help. The car shifts fine at times and then, all of a sudden, shifts out of overdrive? Code reader indicates: transmission fluid pressure valve position switch circuit malfunction. How do we fix this problem?

Transmission fluid and filter change , then you have a invalid TFP manual valve position switch. Take this one step further and replace the manual valve position switch
