is the P0010 covered by the 2 yr. warranty?

The bank 1 intake camshaft position actuator electrical circuit had a fault lodged in the computer or was disconnected for a predetermined period of time. Could this have happened when the finance company had someone install the part to shut the vehicle down for nonpayment?

In the under hood sticker there is a emission warning about tampering with a emission device, Dealer must meet the clean air requirement in order to sell the vehicle. So it is very unlikely some one would do anything to the vehicle.
