P0621 Chevrolet -04 Malibu maxx battery light comes on

Question

The battery light comes on shortly after starting. Will go off for a few minutes then comes right back on. After about 15 minutes of driving it acts like it dies...hard to steer n gas peddle has a delay. If u don't push on the gas hard it dies. Had alternator n battery both checked n both are good.
