P0016 - Code after timing belt replacement

Question

I have replaced the timing belt, tensioner, tensioner pulley, water pump and both the crank and cam position sensors. I've also removed both sensors and slowly hand cracnked engine to make sure the sensor port and the cams they read are clean. I keep getting the P0016 code and car sets to "limp in" mode limiting engine RPMs. Engine is purring like a kitten so I do not believe timing is off. However if engine is cold and I erase the code the code does not reappear until the engine is warmed up. Once the engine is warm and I erase the code it reappears instantly upon startup.

Someone please help! not even shop mechanics have been able to figure this issue out.

P0016  Crankshaft / Camshaft  timing misalignment

This is a mechanical condition, If this was a CKP sensor you would set a CKP code circuit high , circuit low and CKP not learned, If this was camshaft position sensor , same thing circuit high code, circuit low, or intermittent  CKP and CMP. Timing belt are usually the suspect which should be due to wearing out rapidly

 The CKP runs off the flex plate of the transmission, any break in the flex plate will also set a P0016
