P0307 Ford -

Question

I hosed down my engine bay and right after that the truck was trembling on neutral and stumbling when accelerating.
The engine light came on and I got a code p0307
Which means cylinder 7 is misfiring.
Any information on how to narrow down the problem ?
Again, this happened after I hosed down the engine bay, before that everything was running fine.

Hi there,

Normally when this happens after washing the engine the problem is the ignition coil for that cylinder. It normally means it needs to be replaced, in fact this is one method we use for testing the coils.
