I replace battery for my 2006 bmw 760li, had the alternator  check but still have same issue with car not starting after I drove it for awhile. I don't think it is the ECU because everything work find when car is on. Do I need to register the new battery to the car?

HI there

If the car isn't starting after being drive due to low battery voltage, then there is a problem with the alternator. It should be tested on the car, under load at idle. If the alternator is not charging at least 14.5 volts, then the alternator is the problem. That being said, it could be a wiring issue as well.
