Hey there I a charger that keep saying low voltage I replaced the alternator replaced the battery it keep saying the same thing. My battery light comes on now soon as I start it n my abs n every other light comes on soon as I start the car. And by the way this is the 2nd alternator. I thought it was the battery I start the car n walk to the trunk I smell the battery. So I replaced that with a new one had both alternator  n battery checked both reading good. But now when I start the car I walk to the trunk I smell n hear the battery boiling over. Any ideas or help would be helpful n grateful...  THANKS

Chyrsler to begin with Recalled these alternator due to a diode problem , and the only way the alternator can overcharge is if the field is constantly grounded. start by getting a updated alternator . The test is to monitor what the PCM is doing to the field of the alternator
