Hi I have 2005 jeep tj or wrangler with a 4,0l and a p0340 code on it

 the jeep stall on the side of the road with no more oil presure on the gauge and the check engine on with the check gage light to. so I change the cam sensor for a new one from the dealer but now the jeep is long to strart with still no oil pressure on the gauge and it cut off at 3000 rpm with the code p0340 comming back again,,, don.t know what to do????   any idee???

Hi there,

You should pressure test the oil pressure. If the actual oil pressure is low then you have an internal issue on the engine. Otherwise, you may just have a bad sending unit. With a long or extended crank time the cam sensor may need to be syncronized in order to resolve the issue.
