what could be wrong with our truck

We was driving down the highway and out truck lost power my husband took a spark plug out thinking maybe that was the problem. Well he put it back in and then our truck wouldn't start. It turns over but wont start we checked the cam sensor, checked the crank sensor, and checked the fuel pump they was fine and we changed the spark plugs still nothing what could be the problem?

When the truck lost power going down the freeway there are alot or reason for this, The fuel pump maybe working but there need to be adequate  pressure for the engine to start, Then there is the abilty for the iigntion  system to produce a spark or a igntion, The basic would have to be check this year make and model does not have to produce a code for the reason of the no start.
