Transmission Error Code P0708, 1998 Ford Taurus

Question

I have a 1998 Ford Taurus and the transmission is not shifting into overdrive. the light on the dash is flashing overdrive off when I press the overdrive button on the shift stick the lighting is still flashing over off. I am getting an electronic error code P0708. What should I do?
