P0112 Jeep cherokee 1996

Question

When it runs for about 10-15 mints ,temp comes to middle and starts pinging.i already changed IAT sensor but still same.

P0112 Intake air temperature  (IAT)  sensor circuit low input

Pinging , the IAT setting a code can be the result of the engine pinging, what can also set a IAT to go low is a exhuast system plugged, or the timing is not set
