2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with engine code P0112, Transmission shifting to overdrive, what is the meaning?

Hi there

This code is for the intake air temp sensor circuit. This doesn't affect the shifting of the transmission, and normally only requires replacement of the sensor. If you have a transmission issue, then you will need a scan tool to check for codes in the transmission module.
