how do i fix a "p0112" code on my '03 jetta TDI?

it says the IAT sensor1 circuit low input  on the code what do i need to do to fix it, how do i fix it & what part will i need for it, please advise thank you

Hi there

This usually means you will need to replace the intake air temp sensor. This is mounted in the air duct work between the air filter and the throttle body. It's intergrated with the map sensor as well. Most of the time the sensor burns out and needs to be replaced.
