check engine light came on, car went into limp mode and then would not restart. The first code it came up with was crankshaft sensor, it was replaced as well as the wiring. Drove a couple miles and check engine light came on again, the code was deleted and I probably drove 5 miles this time when CEL light came on, car went into limp mode again and would not start. It sat for about a week and battery went dead, recharged battery, guy who did not fix it said generator light was coming on. This is a Mercedes E320 CDI Diesel with 88,000 miles on it.
