will code p0300 for crankshaft speed fluctation mean a sensor is bad?

i had replaced the alternator and coils in my car but it keeps stalling or not starting at all when it is hot. Also the engine light comes on before it stalls. could it be that the crankshaft sensor is damaged

Hi there

This code is for a multiple cylinder misfire. It's not a code for the crank sensor, it is possible you have a problem with the crank sensor, but normally when you do it will code a crank sensor. The symptoms could also be the result of a bad cam sensor as well.
