2001 Mercury Mountaineer with engine code P1405

Check Engine light is on. Error code P1405 DPFE Upstream Hose off. What do I do?

P1405 DPF EGR system

Check the hose connection, there is the possibility that the hose or its system is plugged into the hose.

Here is the DPF for the EGR system, check the hose for proper connection. Not only do you check the hose disconnect the hose start the engine you should have exhaust flow out, if that is good, replace the DPF
