My check engine light stays on. used my scan tool CAN OBD 11 and it gave me the code P0343, Where do I need to start looking at? Can this be located and be an easy fix? My Corvette turns over and over and over. When I tap the accelerator it will finally start. I drove it to the store 3 miles away and I thought it was never going to start, but after winding on it finally cranked. Can please tell what to look for maybe a fuse, a relay I just don't know Please help. Thank you

Vehicle: 2002 Chevrolet Corvette 350

P0343 Camshaft position sensor circuit high input

Hard to start where the engine just cranks and cranks without starting will set a camshaft sensor code condition. But with this code being circuit high mean there is a disconnection of that sensor either at the sensor or the sensor harness where is a open or the sensor itself.

Check the connection of the camshaft sensor , if the connection to the sensor is good a replacement may be necessary, to replace the camshaft sensor the intake manifold would have to be removed
