2006 Chevy Trailblazer 4.2L code p1516

Question

Trailblazer died while driving and would not restart. Towed it home and left it sitting overnight. The next day it started and we were able to drive it into the garage and it would not start again. Husband determined it was not getting gas and the fuel pump needed to be replaced. After putting in new fuel pump, the vehicle has not power and the battery keeps going dead. Scanner shows only code p1516. Won't turn over at all. The problem now seems to be electrical. Any advice?

P1516 Throttle actuator control (TAC) module throttle actuator position perfromance

This code condition may not even be the problem but a result , If the truck not getting fuel or the fuel pressure was low this code may have been a end result. Before you crank the vehicle cycle the key and listen for a fuel pump coming on.
