U0101 - 2010 Nissan titan

Question

I have a 2010 Nissan Titan and this morning when I turned the ignition on the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. I went to the auto parts store and they read the code for me U0101 code Lost communication with transmission control module was the reading? The truck has shown no signs of issue other then this light coming on. It has 93,536 miles on it and has been very well maintained.

This could indicate a loose ground wire for the TCM or a TCM failure. It's likely going to require a trip to the dealer to locate the actual cause of the code.
