Question

i have a 2010 nissan sentra, it's showing code u0101. the car starts but i can't put it into gear, i can't see any of the gears on the screen.

The code U0101 means that the Engine Control Module (ECM) is not communicating with the Transmission Control Module (TCM).  

 

If your Sentra is under 10 years or 120,000 miles, the transmission is still under warranty. Have your nearest Nissan dealer inspect your Sentra for you.
