After fueling the car does not start .  I have to pump gas pedal to start and then the engine has to be kept at @3000 rooms for a good 10 seconds or else the vehicle will stall out.  After doing this the vehicle drives and behaves as normal.
Check engine light came on with a p0456 code.  Replaced evap canister purge solenoid and gas filler cap.  Have not noticed any fuel odors.  Fuel economy went from @400 miles/tank prior to, down to @320 miles/tank.

Hi there,

This could be because of the purge control valve and not the purge control solenoid. It is also possible the wiring for the purge solenoid is grounded and keeping it open. This is a fairly common issue, but the wiring needs to be tested.
