2004 Grand Caravan flashing CEL, had codes read: ignition coil secondary circuit, random misfires. Replaced ignition coil, still ran rough, intermittent flash CEL. Replaced wires, same. Replaced plugs, same. Hours from home so we were forced to drive it. Ran rough, CEL on (not flashing) for quite a while. After some stops we noticed seemed to be running okay. Then by the next day the CEL went off. I assume it took a few drive cycles to clear the light, but why did it still run rough after the new parts? Was the ECM still compensating for the bad coil/plugs/wires? Did it need to relearn? I'm worried I can't trust it until I know what happened.
