Problem with SRT (system readiness) set on Nissan Quest 97

Need to get Smog check in California for my Nissan-Quest 1997. It has passed emission, visual check test, but having problem with functional test due to the system readiness flags are not set. It was reset 4 months ago when it was repaired.

The car has been driven for thousands miles for 4 months. However, two out of 7 readiness flags are still not set, ERG and Catalyst. According to a Nissan document, it needs very specific driving pattern. However, the pattern is extremely hard to meet, for example, it needs engine running RPM > 3,000 but speed has between 50 - 60 MPH, while O/D is off for 3 minutes.
On freeway, I drive to get engine RPM > 3k, the speed can be 60 MPH or higher depending on the road condition. In other words, to maintain both condition for more than 3 minutes is almost impossible.

It has months and I still can't get the readiness flag set. I took to local auto care shop and Nissan dealer. Both only told me one thing "keep driving". However, my registration is up for renew now.
If I can't get that set in next few days, I won't be able to renew registration.
What option do I have other "keep driving?

System readiness test

Check for pending codes, the EGR should have went through, and the EVAP would of been the last to set, (certain test only do not require EVAP to run).If it is having a hard time setting there may be a pending code preventing the system readiness
