how to correct a tps po122 that reads it is wide open and doesnt shift into 2nd or 3rd gears

Computer is reading the tps is wide open, and is making it so the car does not shift into 2nd gear until you accelerate to 35 mph fast and let off the gas and then press the pedal again

The TPS sensor is non adjustalbe, you replace the TPS sensor.
