were is the evap system on my 2001 nissan maxima ?

Hi there,

This code is very genetic in nature and indicates some type of problem in the entire evap system. This could be as simple as a loose fuel cap or more complicated like some type of issue with the evap system pressure sensor. In most cases what I see here is a bad vant control valve which is mounted on the charcoal canister behind the left rear wheel under the car. it's the only part back there with an electrical connector. You can remove it, then add a power and ground wire to it to see if it is working or not.
