I just replace the camshaft position sensor and I am still getting the code, is there any way to know if there is a short or anything else the wires are difficult to get to

Hi there,

If you used an aftermarket sensor, try using a dealer sensor. It could resolve the issue. If you have a scan tool that can see the live data, you could at least be able to see if there is any input from the sensor. If there is this will tell you the wiring is ok. There could be a mechanical issue as well. If you don't see any input from the sensor, then the wiring will have to be tested.
