I changed my synchronizer and sensor but still getting code P0340 on my 2001 Ford Taurus, but I don't have any symptoms like rough idle, hard to start, or dying. I did use a

World Power Systems Cam 2600 Engine Camshaft Synchronizer

Which is an aftermarket. It's running fine though. What should I do?

P0340 Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction

You need to use a synchronizer tool. The correct tool. You are out of alignment.

No I used the tool.  I also used a protractor to align it right at 38 degress so I'm sorry to say your response is not correct.  There are many other things that can go wrong with the Code P0340
