How do I test evap vent solenoid on 98 Subaru with P1423 code? What is the OHM reading suppose to be?

Hi there,

Actually the quickest test for the vent solenoid is to put a power wire and ground wire to the solenoid and see if it makes a clicking sound. If it does, then you know it's good.
