P0172 KIA -

Question

Hallo habe alles gemacht.lambasonde. vorkat. Zündspulen und leirung. LMM. Kraftstofffilter. zündkerzen. Ölwechsel mit filter und nichts hat geholfen.bitte helfen sie mir.die check lampe leuchtet immer nach 45 km dauerhaft auf bis der fehlerspeicher gelöscht wird.nach 45km leuchtet die lampe wieder.ich verzweifle bald.

P0172 Fuel trim too rich Bank 1

Fuel trim rich are cause when there is more fuel that air ratio, there are 2 area that should be check one would be the fuel pressure regulator, and the other would be the MAF flow sensor not reporting correctly

 Here this fuel pressure regulator vacuum line was torn this caused a P0172, not only did it have a torn but it also leak fuel into its vacuum line which went into the intake manifold.

 The MAF senor this sensor if it does not report the correct air flow into the intake it can either cause a lean condition or a rich running condition
