P2017 Chrysler -

Question

I put my car on the machine and it gave code P2017 I changed the map censor. The engine light went off and came back on the next day. I took it back to auto zone and it gave the same code P2017 this time its show a running position censor Is that the same as a crankshaft censor, because the engine light not going out and it won't let me reset it.

P2017 Intake manifold runner position  sensor circuit high

Circuit high will not clear . One of the jobs for the ECM is to look for open circuits , short circuits, grounded circuit. it would code it right away. The intake manifold runner  is also known as the variable inductive control valve.
