P0024 Camshaft "B" timing over advanced or system

This is for the exhaust camshaft on Bank 2

 Number 2 is for the exhaust camshaft actuator

 

 Here is a BMW that came in with a P0024 even though the exhaust side variable timing solenoid was replaced the code condition still appeared, what happened here is the timing chain rail  fell apart and took out the timing chain jump guard which caused the timing chain to over advanced. If P0024 is persistant this would be a mechanical condition
