Safe to drive with P0024 code?

Question

On a trip and Check Engine light came on. P0024 Code but no change in performance. Cleared code but comes back 30 or so miles later. Safe to drive?

Yes you can drive the vehicle , but if you clear it it will come back , Cadillac knows about this problem that they have produced a TSB for this , when it set it set with no drivabilty , The required repair is replace both side exhast camshaft position actuator solenoid exhaust for Bank 1 and Bank 2, This is a upgrade revised part Here a TSB for it

A customer may come in with an SES light on and cam actuator code DTC P0014 or P0024: Exhaust Camshaft

Position System Performance Bank 1 or Exhaust Camshaft Position System Performance Bank 2 set
