2004 Cadillac CTS V6 with code P0024

P0024 code for a 2004 Cadillac CTS with a V6. What can cause this?

This code can be caused by several things. First, low oil can cause this, second the cam position sensor on bank 2 can lose signal and not see the timing advance. It's best to check the signal using a scan tool so you can compare bank 1 and bank 2. If there is more then a 5 degree difference between bank 1 and 2 then there will be a code stored for this.
