P0221 Mercedes-Benz -

Question

After I helped jump the other car on the street, I drove back home and parked my SUV. But the next morning I can not start my car and the diagnostic tool shows the P0221 problem.
How can I fix this problem. really appreciated for your help.

P0221 Fault of function monitor in electronic accelerator

Mercedes Benz are not supposed to be jump started or give a jump start. MBZ has a function monitor to protect the electronic acclerator pedal. The ECM on these vehicles are sensitive

 

 Here is a MBZ that came in with a P0221, the vehicle would not start, the code stored was P0221 , To put the vehicle back on the road the MAF (mass airflow) sensor was replaced. P0221 the first component to check is the MAF. this would be the fault of priority.
