What does code mean

The check engine light came on my 2001 ford sport trac. I went to auto zone and it was the throttle body sensor. Later the check engine light came on again. This time it is reading code 1121 but they do not know what sensor it could be/.

P1121 Throttle position sensor inconsistent with MAF (Mass airflow sensor)

This code is rationality, some of the causes for this is vacuum leak between the MAF and the thottle body. If the fault code was originally for the TPS (throttle position sensor) you would replace the throttle posiion sensor , The throttle position sensor may just be intermittent which would explain the idifferent  code condition you have
