i have a 2008 expedition that is throwing a bad MAF.

Question

replaced the unit and found there was a blown fuse
started the truck again an it blew another fuse with the new MAF sensor installed, After disconnecting the battery the problem persist.

You have short to power somewhere here a diagram

Kere you can see where the power of the MAF comes from the fuse.

Here it continues again from the fuse that keeps opening, there a variety of sensor that will cause the fuse to open in a majority of cases the short is from the 02 sensor , check the harness of the 02 sensor
