Bmw325ci 2003 convertible my gears wont go in i just replaced my trasnmission

Ok my transmission was leaking i took it of ans replace the oil pump, sealsand torque, put it back together and my gears r not going, when i put it on reverse or drive i dont feel the transmission is catching any gears

If the torque convertor was removed and reinstalled, was the torque convertor seated.? The torque convertor has to be seated in a specail way this will insure it grabs the oil pump.

Here is a Ford where the torque convertor was not properly installed and damage to the flex plate occured as well as to the transmimsion front pump. The solution for the BMW is remove the transmission remove the torque convertor and seat the torque convertor in.
