U1000 Nissan -

This port doesn't work all the sudden , the controlast for the a/c stopped working , the shifter has to be manually unlocked, and the tachometer rests each time we turn he car off , could this be related?

The U1000 code means that the Engine Control Module (ECM) is not communicating with one or more control units, possible the control unit that control the gauges.
