I have recently replaced solenoid, canister and purge valve. The gas cap is after market not sure why this is still coming up could the gas cap be a problem should I purchased a gas cap from the dealership to make sure it fits properly.

Vehicle: 2004 Nissan Pathfinder 3.5 liter V6 ENGINE

HI there,

Because its a large evap leak code, I would make sure the right fuel cap was on it, then if the code reappears have a smoke test done to locate the leak. This could be a problem with the fuel pump O ring or an issue with the pressure sensor causing the problem so both should be tested.
