I have changed plugs., air filter, checked for vacuum leaks, checked coils and ejectors electrically All okay. What else?

Yes it can

EGR valves usually clog up due to carbon build up, you can remove it and clean it. 

you can manually push in the EGR and the car is suppose to turn off due to too much air. If it does not turn off there is most likely too much carbon built up. Use a wire brush, small screw driver and WD40 to clean up the carbon built up and use brake cleaner to clean it up after
