I have a 2005 KIA sadona. The engine light is on and my machanic says the camshaft/crankshaft correlation is faulty. He says the cost is 1187. Is this the cheapest way to go? I payed 4,200 for the car just last year at a used car dealership

Do you know parts is he replacing? If is just the sensor, then $1187 is too expensive and should get a second opinion.
