getting code p0170 (service engine light soon coming on). how do you repair this and is it costly?

This code is for a fuel trim issue. Cost depends on the reason for the code. There's no set part that causes the code. It could be the result of a faulty O2 sensor, intake leak, low fuel pump pressure.Even a plugged converter or bad mass air flow sensor can cause the code.
